Heavenly Escapade: Kashmir and Vaishno Devi Pilgrimage Tour

On your arrival in Jammu, you will be escort by our representative who will assist you to your waiting vehicle. From the station / airport it is a minimum of 02 hrs drive to the holy town of Katra. We will drive on the outskirts of the Jammu city and traverse across the Trikuta hills to eventually arrive in Katra and check in at the hotel for our overnight stay. Rest of the day at leisure for individual activities. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

After an early morning breakfast we will begin with a short drive to the base of the trek from where we will begin our trek. The ascent is good and you will be meeting a lot of co-pilgrims on their way up. Situated at a distance of 12 kilometres, the pilgrimage will take a whole day coming and going which also includes brief stops for rest. A popular belief holds that anybody who walks this Himalayan trail to her abode to ask for a boon rarely go back disappointed. After paying your obeisance in front of the deity, you will trek downhill and reach your hotel for a welcome period of rest and relaxation. Overnight in hotel.

Post-arrival to Srinagar ,complete the check-in formalities and unwind. Then, spend the day at the hotel or go for a Shikara ride. Overnight stay in Srinagar.Optional: Shikara Ride (charges extra).

Post a sumptuous breakfast, and we start our day 4 with a drive towards Sonamarg. On the way to Sonamarg valley, you can enjoy watching the picturesque countryside - the snow-clad mountains, the green forests, the rolling hills, crystal clear streams of water and the vast rice fields. You can opt 3-hour walk or cab/horseback ride (Extra Cost) in Sonamarg to the Thajiwas glacier, a significant attraction in Sonamarg for its beautiful meadows. we visit the local market for some snacks and for exploring the way local people spend their life there. We drive back to Srinagar for overnight stay and dinner.

You will begin your day 5 with a morning breakfast and head towards Gulmarg - This drive will take you past the growing rice fields and vibrant villages of the Kashmir Valley. We arrive at Tangmarg, a colourful market town and then proceed towards Gulmarg. We can opt for Gondola cable car (Extra cost) wherein the ropeway will offer you stunning views of the mountain ranges nearby on its way from the Shepherd huntsmen to the lower ridge of the Afarwat peak. . We drive back to Srinagar for overnight stay and dinner.

Post morning breakfast, you start your journey towards Pahalgam. The drive will take you to Pahalgam is mainly known for the fantastic landscape, the beautiful scenery of green forests, clear water streams and pretty mountains. You will have a night stay in Pahalgam.

After having a morning breakfast, you can visit the famous Betaab valley Located between Pahalgam and Chandanwari at a distance of 15 km from Pahalgam gives heavenly pleasure girdled with mountain ranges and pine and deodar forests. You can visit the famous Aru valley that offers some fantastic scenery that has beautiful lakes, lush meadows and mountains. Chandanwari is a beautiful place that is significant from a religious point of view also. This is the point where Amarnath Yatra starts. Apart from this, there are numerous waterfalls that you encounter on the way. You can also enjoy a horse ride to Baisaran hills. Called Mini Switzerland. Later in the evening, stay at hotel in pahelgam.

We begin our day with morning breakfast and then go for local sightseeing. You will proceed towards the world famous Tulip Garden(only for march package), Mughal gardens, Chashme Shahi (Royal Spring) and Shalimar bagh that the Mughals build in the 16th century close to the banks of Lake Dal amidst the Srinagar city and Visit the handloom centre famous for the world-reckoned Pashmina/ Shahtoosh shawls and carpets. Enjoy an overnight at the hotel/houseboat. Later, you can go for a Shikara ride.(Extra Cost after 1 hr.)

Your Splendour of Kashmir tour ends today. First, relish a fulfilling breakfast and then start your journey back to Jammu station/Airport / Srinagar Airport then back home with unforgettable memories of beautiful Kashmir.
